The September review strengthened recording, recovery, and evidence checks. The published software passed automated verification on Windows and Linux; participant validation remains the next gate.

SOFTWARE VERIFIED

The September engineering review focused on a basic requirement: a research result must remain traceable when a recording is interrupted, an input is invalid, or an analysis is repeated. The resulting changes were integrated into the main software branch on 14 September 2026.

The work tightened acquisition and cleanup behavior, configuration and private-data boundaries, and checks that connect an analysis to its original recording. Signal-processing and confirmation workflows now reject additional inconsistent or incomplete inputs instead of treating them as usable evidence.

The published Windows verification reported 2,283 passed tests, two skips, and 90.62% coverage. Each Linux job across Python 3.11, 3.12, and 3.13 reported 2,275 passed tests, ten skips, and 90.63% coverage. Linting, type checks, packaging, and separate synthetic integration checks passed. These are platform-specific software results, not a combined count of independent experiments.

This is a stronger software foundation, not a completed BCI demonstration. The review created no participant result and establishes no live command accuracy, decision latency, idle false-activation rate, or long-duration performance. A legacy Windows dependency still requires separate compatibility work; the review is not a claim that every dependency or hardware gate is closed.

The next evidence step is controlled collection on the current montage, followed by a frozen test on new recordings. Unsuccessful attempts remain part of the record.
